I’m here at the beautiful Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki Beach. Although Hawaii is no new destination for me, this resort has been on my to do list for the longest time! Hawaii for the weekend is what weekend warriors daydream about and I am lucky enough to have landed here for a three day getaway. We decided to test out the best of the best and whether you are here for vacation, your honeymoon, or a weekend like us, I highly recommend the Hilton Hawaiian Village for the ultimate island experience.

My first positive note about the resort is the amazing customer service. Everyone was so hospitable and accommodating. Anything we needed we got right away with no trouble. The room was divine and the atmosphere of the resort was breathtaking. Our room had the most spectacular view of the island and the room itself was gorgeous. The bedding was like sleeping on a cloud and it was such a nice place to return to after a long day at the beach. There was so much to do here that we never even left the resort. There are daily activities on the great lawn, endless entertainment at the resorts many bars and pools, and they even have their own lagoon. It was insane. The food at Tropics Bar & Grill, their beach front restaurant, was incredible. We went there three times which is a lot considering we were only there three days! I would highly recommend this restaurant whether you are staying at the resort or not. There usually is a wait though, so be sure to call ahead to make a reservation. If you head down the main beach away from the lagoon, you can also find great prices on beach umbrellas & chair rentals, and three dollar Mai Tais.

We had a great time staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and after three days I felt refreshed, relaxed, and ready to get back to reality (Okay I definitely could have stayed longer but I’ll take what I can get!). On our last day in paradise we left our bags at the front desk to hit the beach one last time. We were going to head to the airport right after so being sandy on the plane home was gonna be a bummer but we were in Hawaii so you just gotta go with it right? WRONG. If you are a guest at the Hilton Hawaiian Village you can request at no additional charge a room to go shower and change in before heading to the airport. How cool is that?! We each got half an hour to shower and freshen up before the long flight home. This tiny detail made the Hilton Hawaiian Village stand out above and beyond any other resort I’ve been to. It left a great last impression of the hotel and it is now my favorite place to stay on the island. This resort truly is heaven on earth.
